The original shop entry doors to Arkwright & Carpenter had been removed c1980 & replaced (with a by 2024 rotting) glazed takeaway shop door. As it is the only corner door in Oatlands, and was well recorded in photographic evidence from c 1890, the decision was made to remake the doors & original night shutters. […]
